However, most of the times it does not offer a good view; but, it is more affordable than the other types in all aspects. The price is low, and the cost of operation and maintenance is also low. It is placed in a single box that comprises a condenser, evaporator, compressor, coil and cooling coils.
Packaged Air Conditioner
This type of air conditioner is ideal for homes and offices. The design is perfect for heating and cooling multiple rooms and large areas. You can find them in commercial establishments, businesses, offices, and homes. There are two types of a packaged air conditioner. The first type houses both the condenser and compressor in one case.
A separate unit contains an expansion valve and a cooling coil situated in different rooms, and the compressed gas passes through these units. The second type is where all components rest in one casing. It means the condenser, evaporator, compressor and expansion valve are together.
Split Air Conditioner
Split air conditioner as the name implies, consist of two different parts. It is a widespread type, and you can quickly notice it since one piece is outside the building. The other box comprises of the condenser, compressor and the expansion valve. On the other hand, the indoor box houses the evaporator, cooling fan, and coil. It is ideal for smaller houses and offices as it can cool and heat up to two rooms.
Centralized Air Conditioner
This type of air conditioning system is standard in more prominent establishments such as entire buildings, factories, offices, hotels, and large homes. It makes use of a big compressor with the capacity to produce hundreds of tons of fresh air.
